Malt Milkshake March 23, 2009

.:Malt:. just moved their mainstore to a brand new sim. Until the 28th there is a sim-wide hunt with 10 items from Malt and 5 from Spork, each 50L.  I haven’t had a chance to do it yet and also found that several other blogs had covered the items, if you check Malt Fashions blog there are links to other sites.  There is also a freebie tunic that will be out the duration of the hunt and is a perfect addition to your spring/summer wardrobe.

I’ve paired it with a vest from Armidi randomly and kind of liked how it turned out (shrug).  It’s $145 but I’ve had it since like May or June of last year and it’s by far my favorite vest.

This second tunic was just sent out to her SOM, to sign up simply walk into the mainstore, it’s right in front.  Then click again and go to history to find it.  The ears I’m wearing throughout are ones I previously blogged from Sn@tch.

Cupcake Cutie March 10, 2009

I went to pick up the group hair from Dejavu and afterwards did a little wandering around the Cupcake sim.  Not only is the sim itself cute but there is a great collection of designers, several of which I hadn’t even heard of before and now totally love.

Uma Ceawlin (who’s blog I absolutely LOVE) has a tee shop.  Adorable kawaii kinds of tees for $50L as well as freebie and dollarbie available.

From Polina Kaestner I got the black corset, $40L, trench coat, $80L and sequined dress, $50L.

I had to buy this top from (faire) it’s $65L and the jeans are $115L.  I headed over to &bean and picked up a freebie sweater from there (which I forgot to take a picture of) and snagged the lm to their discount location. Several items there are 50% off.

I picked up yet another awesome plaid shirt for $100L while I was there.  The jeans I’m wearing are from {Zaara} and are my new favorites, they come with 3 different wear styles for the bottoms for $125L.

Tuli-scrumptious February 25, 2009

I’m a bit surprised I haven’t seen a bunch of stuff about the hunt on Journey, the mainstore of Tuli.  Lots of really good items from various designers on the sim Amerie’s Naughty, [NOP], Violet Voltaire, Flirt, Dark Mouse, Jimmy Chau, Fine Pixels, Attitudes, Tuli, G-Field, CoLLisions, DelEmma Design, xoxo Ania and Step Up.  You’re searching for golden gift boxes, there are usually several in each store and some are quite difficult to find.  After several days of working on the hunt here and there I think I have almost all of the items. So if you need any help, feel free to ask :] Here are a few of the things you can get.

[NOP] Guys shirt.  I threw on the first guy shape that popped up in my inventory to try this on, Kenzie doesn’t look so hot with washboard abs.  Needless to say his face was kind of ewww so I cropped it out haha.

Half Off Sn@tch February 20, 2009

I sat down this morning and braced myself, 278 unread on plurk.  Really glad I didn’t mark all as read and glanced through them all, otherwise I wouldn’t have caught Ivey’s plurk about the 50% off sale at Sn@tch. I logged in and tp’d right over.  Sn@tch has tonnnss of really cute punky clothes, kitty parts and accessories.  All priced around $200L and that’s for either an entire outfit or several options of the item you’re purchasing.

The top comes in black, blue, brown, green, purple, red and white for $125L.  The awesome Atari belt is $25L and the shorts with leggings (which I lovee) are $100L and comes with 4 shorts options and 5 tights options.

Of course I had to buy the plaid outfit and was thrilled when it only cost $50L, happy dance.

So I went back to double check on prices and wound up buying more.  hahaha  The dress is $75L and there are 2 other versions of it also on sale which I had to resist to buy also.  The ears are $75L as well, 12 color options and mod so you can easily get the perfect match.  (Unlike me who just put them on)

The sale is this weekend ONLY, so go, go now….seriously stop reading and go.

PixelDolls Sale Continues February 11, 2009

Earlier this month Rylan did a post about PixelDolls having their lingerie on sale for $50.  I received a notice today about the salon section now also being marked down. I tp’d over and was thrilled to find that the majority of the store is still $50.  May not have been the best idea to use the store card I received as a birthday gift today, but after beating the vendors with the card, a stick from Dinalya and a piece of wood with a nail in it from Katey I eventually was able to buy some things.  I didn’t get a few of the items that I purchased probably due to massive lag, but here are a few of the items I did pick up.

The one thing I love the most about PixelDolls (aside from the quality) is that there are so many different styles available.  Something for everyone.

I Wear My Sunglasses at Night February 5, 2009

LA Street Scene is one of my favorite malls.  Their hunts are usually pretty easy and the gifts really nice.  For Valentine’s they are having a hunt from the 2nd until the 15th.  Little hearts are scattered around the sim, simply find them and buy for $1L. Here are some of my favorite finds.

The tube top and tank are both from Gorgeous.  In the actual store there are three freebie skins which I didn’t have a chance to check out.  Gorgeous also has a very small selection of hair, I think only one style.  My hair in the first picture is in the hunt and is a great sleek side pony. The rest of the items are around $100L or less. The heart belt is also from the hunt, I’m blanking on the name of the store which had it at the moment.  The jeans I’m wearing are the BEST jeans to wear with sneakers/flats in my opinion.  They’re from Gearshift(also available on xstreet) and $200L, but if you’re like me and live in chucks they are well worth it.

I’d seen this shirt all over Flickr and as I previously mentioned, I do have a fondness for plaid.  Lucky me (and you) it’s a group freebie from *Thimbles* and it both for the guys and the girls.

*Thimbles* has a lot of very reasonably priced items.  I have several dresses from there as well as some tops.  I picked this one up today for $75L, it’s just revealing enough but still classy, it’s also great for layering with other pieces.   The glasses I’m wearing throughout this post are both from the LA Hunt, set out by Spexx.

Humming Bird February 2, 2009

I love finding cute little stores, love it even more when they have things for super cheap. :]  Elana tp’d me to Ladybird where the entire store is $1L except for the furniture I believe.  I’ve heard it’s a going out of business sale but don’t know for sure, so may want to check it out soon.

I hopped up on the desk to take a picture and instantly thought of the scene from Dead Poets Society.  Being a spaz I made sure to shout in local chat “Oh captain my captain” to which someone 46m away shouted back “wtf?”

I also went to Humming after sneakily inspecting people’s outfits while stalking a lucky chair, shhhhh. Everything there is $30-50L and there is also a lucky board that flips fairly quickly.

The skirt is from the Humming lucky board, the shirt and socks are part of the parka outfit from Ladybird.

I’m a huge fan of both plaid and argyle.  I bought the socks (from Humming) without even thinking.  A brown and grey pair come together for $30L.  The tunic top is also from Humming and is $50L.  The cute little cropped jeans are from Ladybird.
